Originally crafted during the 1880s Victorian Aesthetic Movement - this beautiful antique entryway or console table features a rich, scorched "tortoise" finish and a slatted lower shelf.
While it looks exactly like bamboo, this is actually a high-quality solid wood piece with a meticulously lathe-turned frame and steam-bent brackets. It has a warm, century-old patina and strikes a great balance between organic geometry and antique craftsmanship. Perfect as a hallway statement piece or a stylized plant stand.
