An authentic mid-century solid hard rock maple china hutch and buffet cabinet by Hale Company Inc. of East Arlington, Vermont. Made as a single, sturdy solid wood piece in a warm "Swedish Maple" finish, the upper display cabinet features dual glass doors with architectural wood mullions and interior display shelving. The lower buffet features a felt-lined top silverware drawer, two center storage drawers, and two side cabinets raised on a tapered stretcher base frame.
The buffet top surface has been refinished, showing a fresh, slightly lighter honey-maple tone that blends seamlessly with the piece while providing a clean, smooth surface. The overall cabinet is in very good condition with smooth-gliding drawers, magnetic cabinet closures, clean intact glass, and an exceptionally solid frame.
