A matching pair of vintage solid wood end tables featuring a warm, rich grain, classic traditional craftsmanship, and an incredible, one-of-a-kind surface history. This staggered set includes one larger two-tier drawer table and one smaller single-tier drawer table. The fronts feature a charming apothecary-style multi-drawer facade with antique brass-toned button knobs, and the drawers are built with high-quality, visible dovetail joinery.
The Patina: What makes this set truly special is the natural "craquelure" (crackled) texture across the top surfaces. Likely the result of years spent aging gracefully beside a roaring stone fireplace, the heat has cured the finish into a striking, distressed pattern. It is an authentic, time-earned texture that cannot be replicated in a factory—perfect for those who appreciate the emerging Wabi-Sabi trend of celebrating beautiful, natural wear.
Excellent structural condition with smooth-gliding, dovetailed drawers. Beyond the unique heat-aged crazing on the top surfaces, the tables show standard vintage wear commensurate with age (see photos). They are structurally flawless and ready to serve as a dynamic living room set or highly unique mismatched nightstands.
Three-knob Drawer Dimensions: 22 width x 28 length x 21.5 height
