A stylish Danish Modern-inspired accent or desk chair by Safavieh New York, complete with its original brass maker's plaque on the underside. Taking design cues from iconic mid-century Scandinavian silhouettes, this piece features a beautifully sculpted, continuous curved backrest that flows into flared armrests, paired with warm wood grain and sleek tapered legs. The wide seat is crafted from crisp white flat-woven strapping in an intricate, airy geometric cane pattern, making it a standout piece for a modern, coastal, or Scandinavian-inspired living room, vanity, or home office desk.
This chair is in great pre-owned condition. The white woven seat is taut, supportive, and clean, and the wood frame shows a warm, natural luster with only minimal, faint surface scuffs near the bottom of the legs. Structurally solid and ready for daily use.
