A fantastic set of four authentic 1950s Mid-Century Modern dining chairs—including two captain's armchairs and two side chairs—manufactured by the iconic Broyhill Furniture Factories in Lenoir, North Carolina. These pieces retain their original paper factory labels on the underside, showing awesome local history from when they were originally shipped to Sears, Roebuck & Co. in Elizabeth, New Jersey. They feature a classic 1950s blonde finish, architectural vertical spindle backs, tapered legs, and sculpted overhanging armrests, all paired with retro two-tone mossy green textured tweed upholstery.
These chairs are in good, honest vintage condition. They carry authentic patina from the last seven decades, including visible finish wear and flaking along the tops of the armrests and edges, as well as some light wear and a few discolored spots on the vintage green fabric of one of the side chairs. Structurally sturdy and ready for daily use.
