Add incredible durability and classic Mid-Century Modern character to your workspace or dining table with this vintage solid wood library chair. Likely manufactured in the 1960s or 1970s for institutional use (marked Model 830 underneath), it features a heavy-duty A-frame profile, a deeply scooped, ergonomic saddle seat, and curved, dowel-jointed backrests for excellent support. This chair showcases a beautiful, warm honey-maple finish. It makes a fantastic, rock-solid desk chair, or a great standalone accent piece in a mid-century, industrial, or farmhouse interior.
Good vintage condition. It is structurally solid with no wobble. The wood displays an authentic, aged patina with some paint splatter and cosmetic surface scratches and finish wear throughout (most notably on the seat and lower legs) which add to its vintage institutional charm. It has been cleaned and hydrated with Howard Feed-N-Wax.
